Aaron Murray Record Setting Day Symmetrical

Unless there is some sort of injury that keeps Aaron Murray out for more than a half, he is only 99 yards shy of David Greene’s record for all-time SEC passing yards and will break that record this weekend at Neyland Stadium.

I am certain of that becuase even in his worst game, Aaron still threw for 109 yards against South Carolina last year.

So, get used to Verne and Gary talking about it becuase this is happening.

So how is this symmetrical?

Aaron Murray will break David Greene’s record almost 12 years to the day that Greene had his most famous moment in UGA history, P44 Haynes (October 6, 2001).

I think it is pretty cool that Murray will break the record on the same field nearly the same date as Greene made his unquestionable mark on the UGA football program.
