Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Execution

If there is one thing you can say about our beloved Georgia Bulldogs Coaching staff, they are pretty good at making in-game and halftime adjustments.  Just look back at the Ole Miss game; after a sluggish start, Grantham and Bobo got things figured out and then it was off to the races.

The curmudgeon in me, though, wants to ask a snarky question.

What in the hell are the coaches doing before the game?

I am glad they make good adjustments in the course of the game, but it seems like every week they are having to get down and then make these big adjustments.  I think it would be better if we went into the game with a good game plan initially.

That exact question has been lurking around in my head this year, too!

I believe CTG isn’t lighting a fire before the game starts, like Hugh Freeze did for Ole Miss and they came out the first quarter and were kicking A&$. So instead of waiting to make changes, why don’t we apply the pressure and not feel it from the start.
