THIRD QUARTER

Georgia missed a HUGE chance to blow it open big time with the bad execution / decision not to go for it on fourth and one. So much for the special teams miscues going away this week…

Overall, this looks like a carbon copy of last week. Georgia had a nice lead then too but seemed to sit on it and not put the game away – a dangerous business to be in when you are playing a desperate team.

Georgia appears content to lean on its defense – and as long as its holding MSU at bay- why not? At some point, however, two scoring chances inside the 20 yielding in just one field goal have to be a concern.

And an even bigger concern – the hot and cold streak of Aaron Murray – the pick six now has State back in the game.
