The focus of the blog this week has been more big picture, as I am not ready to discuss what happened in Columbia. Not with my Dad, not with my friends, not anyone. Lewis summed it up pretty well after a loss to Tech.
Frankly, I don’t want to talk about it.
Not sure it was a “bad” loss. What if losing by 28, makes the team face their weaknesses faster and more honestly than losing by 1 point? Only way we will know if the loss was good or bad, is how to the team adapts from here to the new reality. After the Florida game, we’ll know. And I think we’ll all look bad and say, believe it or not, that the loss to South Carolina hurt, but it was the best thing that could happen to overconfident players and coaches.
Overconfidence will beat you faster than any team you face.
Men of renown.
Erk. What would Erk say?
Larry. What would Larry say?
Lewis. What would Lewsi say?
Will think about these men and what they did as Bulldogs at this time. There is greatest with these men, their contributions, and their accomplishments.
Still keep the Aaron Murray family and Aaron’s father in your prayers and thoughts.
