Yeah, that was the last good. I didn’t realize it has been that long. We really needed this SC game. Let’s hope for a turnaround down in Jacksonville, but I am scared for our DAWGS. If we can handle business down there maybe we can salvage an SEC championship attempt. Beating Alabama in the big dance would be sweet yes, but I also fear that if that scenario materialized, then UGA would be the first SEC champion NOT SELECTED to play for the marbles since Auburn 2004.

2007 Florida. While not a “great team” perhaps, they were still pretty good. They rolled up some some serious offensive number with Tebow winning the Heisman. Plus, their three losses (other than the one to us), were all by six points or less and were to good teams. They spent most of the year in the Top Ten (#9 when we beat them) and were wedged in between two teams that won national championships.

UF finished 9-4 in 2007. So, no – that’s not a great win at all! I’m thinking the last GREAT win was against LSU in Atlanta 2005. Long time ago to say the least……

I’m sick of being a paper tiger.

Well, Ron, if you think the 2007 win against the gators wasn’t a great win, I’m guessing your a Florida fan. No, they weren’t a great team but it was a great win…

I’m not a UGA fan…..I’m a UGA grad. Beating a team that three other teams beat doesn’t do it for me.

    Does Auburn 2007 not count?

I’m pretty sure a lot of other UGA fans/”grads” celebrated like hell after winning that 2007 Florida game. Sorry it didn’t “do it” for you…

Beating ACC champion an #7 GA tech in 2009, at their house, is hard to argue. No matter how bad that season was.
