This week, I want to go through some of the reasons why I hate Tennessee football/athletics.
Reason #1 is Neyland Stadium.
If you’ve been there, you know what I am talking about. One, I have found getting around Knoxville to be difficult. I have been there twice, and both times the tailgating is like tailgating for a game at the Georgia Dome. We tailgated one year in a parking lot downtown (I think it was for the hospital) and another year we tailgated a long way away in a parking lot for something I can’t remember.
Two, the stadium is ugly. Yes, it is impressive they have over 100K people in there. But it looks ugly. Unlike Sanford Stadium, where the renovations have been made with some continuity. You can see the different levels and when they were built. It is ugly.
Knoxville is a place I would never want to go back again, and I don’t ever care to see anymore games at Neyland Stadium.

The Vol nation is “well fed” if anything (code for overweight to fat) but Neyland stadium seating is for NYC runway models (code for eat food but throw it up later). It is the most ridiculous seating anywhere, my butt can cover two seat numbers (I do not qualify as well fed, more in haven’t missed many meals).
