So, let me get this straight.
Tanner McEvoy, 19 year old QB for South Carolina, decides to have a few beers and drive. Though he wasn’t impaired enough to get a DUI, he gets arrested for drinking and driving while under 21.
Per South Carolina policy, McEvoy was to be suspended, but Spurrier went ahead and said he wouldn’t be suspended. Well, not even a couple of days later, McEvoy decides to transfer.
Am I the only one that smiled like a jackass eating briars this morning while reading that? Here Spurrier puts his nuts out there defending the guy, and then he decides to up and leave.
That is some serious egg on Spurrier’s face. And I love it.

I bet the OBC was mad enough to take a DUMP in his visior. Ha Ha Ha
Perhaps Spurrier did it just to set a precedent…”Well, we let Tanner off, it wouldn’t be fair to suspend (un-named futurestarter)”.
